So I’ve been meaning to post about this event, and now it’s here so now is a perfect time:P

New England Give Camp is the first Give Camp in New England, and so far it is shaping out to be awesome. It goes from today (Friday) @ 5 pm through Sunday @5pm. 48 hours of helping to create, update, and upgrade software for non profits. I am currently assigned to a team to work on updating and upgrading CatchingJoy.org ‘s website with a good amount of Bells and whistles .

As you can see we hit the ground running after the opening events! Don’t worry, it’s not all work, eventually someone may just bust out into song

Coders + Microsoft = Time for Rock Band

Oh right by the way, this is all taking place at Microsoft in Cambridge. They give us place to sleep, shower, and most importantly code and work. They even provide food and caffeine! THANKS:), (At a building called NERD of all things )

Tonight we finished a lot of planning. Tomorrow we code. I’ve been looking into wordpress event calendar plugins, and I may have found a useful one. I will post more with my next update.
